Asus launched its ZenFone AR smartphone with 8GB of RAM. The Asus Zenfone AR is the world’s first phone which is Tango-enabled as well as Daydream ready. The phone was launched in at CES 2017 earlier this year. Now it seems like the company is ready to bring the handset finally to India. Asus announced the phone will be officially launched on 13th July in India.
Tango is a new technology from Google that enables augmented reality (AR) gaming and utilities and Daydream is Google’s Virtual Reality Programme.
With the new feature Tango, the mobile will use the motion tracking and the depth-sensing cameras to learn areas, so it can recognize places in which it’s been before. The phone will be able to map physical spaces, can track objects, and it can project virtual effects.
Asus ZenFone AR Brief Specification
The Asus ZenFone AR runs Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The display is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Scratch Resistant. The smartphone has 2.35 GHz (N/A core) Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The processor is customize for Tango. The phone has a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 module with TriTech+ autofocus system & can record in 4K.
The phone is powered by a 3300 mAh battery &It’s a Dual SIM Smartphone. It also comes with NFC.
