Evernote is a popular cross-platform app which allows users to create notes. Actually, we all know about this app. Now a good news that comes in this week about this app. The much request fingerprint security feature has become available with Evernote Beta update version 7.12. Enabling the functionality is a somewhat convoluted process. If you are looking to access your notes with a fingerprint first need to set up a Passcode Lock by opening the Account Info section of the main Settings menu. Then tapping the relevant option on the following screen. The feature would allow users to easily secure their notes.
As expected if you are part of the Evernote Android beta testing community you’ll be able to try out the new feature and if you are using the regular non-beta version you will not able to secure it. When the feature enables in Evernote beta version, you will be able to unlock the app with your fingerprint, instead of entering a four-digit PIN. For some users unlocking Evernote via their fingerprint probably seems more instinctive.
